1. Understand the essential human resource functional capabilities that are used in the employee selection, development, and motivation processes
2. Understand human resource management's setting, difficulties, strategic function and methods within enterprises
3. Determine how much HR practices are worth to the business (e.g., turnover costs, training programs, and compensation and benefits packages)

To pass the unit a 40% overall grade must be achieved.
