Project Management
Interpersonal Skills and Self-Improvement
£2360 (£1600 during the tuition waiver period)
This unit is designed to equip learners with the knowledge and skills required to implement organisational changes effectively. It emphasises the importance of change management, which involves studying the theories, practices, and people-leading and management skills necessary for long-term transformation. The human element of change at all levels, including personal, professional, and societal, makes change management challenging. While the course explores several change models, it is important to note that all change efforts require individuals to modify their behaviour. The primary focus of this unit is to enable learners to become effective change advocates and collaborate with others to facilitate positive change. By the end of this unit, learners will have a comprehensive understanding of change management principles and techniques and be equipped with the skills necessary to lead and manage change in their organisations effectively.
1. Understand change management and its significance; describe different change models and discuss their strengths and weaknesses
2. Understand what factors people are resistant to changing and how you can help them adjust
3. Discuss the differences between change leadership and change management
4. Apply a systematic method for reviewing the effectiveness of a transformation by conducting an after-action retrospect review (RAAR)
