The "Operations Management" module offers learners a comprehensive exploration of the scope, strategic significance, and pivotal role that operations management plays within organisations. Through this module, participants will develop a profound understanding of the nature of operations and recognise the criticality of effective operations management, not only within their own organisation but also in the context of global competition with other businesses. By the end of this module, learners will be equipped with essential insights that enable them to grasp the complexities of operations management and its broader implications, empowering them to contribute significantly to the success and efficiency of their organisations.
1. Understand operations management in a variety of contexts, input-process-output framework, as well as its expansions
2. Examine the various operational transformation procedures
3. Understand the roles of operations managers and the difficulties they confront
4. Understand the content of an operations strategy for decision-making
Scholarships

To pass the unit a 40% overall grade must be achieved.
