She also holds a Master's degree in Literature (1985) and a Bachelor's degree in French (1978) with a minor in English, both from Chulalongkorn University.

Dr. Sthalanand has a prolific career at Thai Airways International, spanning 33 years. Her roles encompassed corporate strategy management, human resource management, media and PR management, crisis and risk management, and corporate social responsibility. She has also been involved in climate change initiatives, aviation environment projects, and voluntary carbon footprint offset programs.
