John Alianza is an accomplished professional with a robust background in business strategy, digital transformation, and IT project management. Born and raised in the Philippines, John has built a distinguished career over the past 20 years, working in various capacities that demonstrate his expertise in sales management, regulatory compliance, and business development.
John holds a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Philippine Christian University and a Master’s in Information Management from Asia Pacific College. He further enhanced his credentials by earning a Certified Professional Association Executive (CPAE) certification from the Philippine Council of Associations and Association Executives in 2022.
Currently, John serves as the Data Privacy Officer and Group Head of Business Development and Marketing at the Association of Development Financing Institutions in Asia and the Pacific (ADFIAP). In this dual role, he is responsible for safeguarding data integrity, developing strategic partnerships, and driving the business growth of the Association. His innovative marketing strategies and keen understanding of market trends have significantly enhanced ADFIAP's profile and influence globally.
Previously, John was the Country Director for the Philippines at the London Institute of Business & Technology, where he oversaw operations, sales, and strategic direction. He also served as the Council Secretary for the Philippine Council of Associations and Association Executives, facilitating the advancement of association management professions.
John's extensive experience includes his role as Managing Director at Kowops eCommunity Solutions Phils Inc., where he led IT development strategies to empower micro-enterprises and credit cooperatives. He also founded Gizter.com, a social network service for gadget enthusiasts, demonstrating his entrepreneurial spirit and innovation.
Throughout his career, John has held several key positions, including Vice President at Portal Innovations Corporation and IT Project Manager at the Philippine Federation of Credit Cooperatives. His leadership and strategic vision have consistently driven success in various projects and initiatives.
