She has served as a Personal Assistant at Care2Nurse Limited, where she developed strong administrative and business skills working closely with directors. At Knockaloe Beg Farm, she embraced the responsibilities of housekeeping in a B&B, Wigwams, and cottages, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Her role at Roots Cafe involved significant social interaction and creativity, as she worked behind the tills and contributed to the creation of fun recipes. During a year-long internship with the 'Year Of Your Life' program, Leighsa honed her communication, administrative, and organizational skills through tasks such as sending emails, producing social media graphics, leading youth groups, and planning events.

Leighsa also volunteered as a classroom assistant at St. John’s Primary School, where she enjoyed the diversity of tasks and the opportunity to support students and teachers.
