Rushan Herath, a resident of Thiththakade Ilippadeniya, Chilaw, Sri Lanka, is a highly skilled Junior Software Engineer with a strong academic and professional background. Born on July 29, 1997, Rushan holds a Bachelor of Software Engineering from London Metropolitan University, England. His educational journey includes a Higher National Diploma in Information Technology, a Diploma in English, and a Diploma in Information Technology from Esoft Metro Campus, Sri Lanka. Additionally, he completed his GCE Ordinary Level at St. Benedict's College in Chilaw, Sri Lanka.

Rushan's professional experience encompasses various roles, demonstrating his versatility and expertise in the field of software engineering. Since January 2022, he has been working as a User Interface Engineer (Freelance) at the London Institute of Business and Technology (LIBT). In this role, he designs and develops user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, collaborates with UX teams to create intuitive web and mobile interfaces, and ensures designs are optimized for accessibility and responsive design. He has also contributed to maintaining style guides and troubleshooting UI issues.

From July 2023 to June 2024, Rushan served as a Wharf Clerk at A - Shipping & Trading, where he managed and processed shipping documents, coordinated with stakeholders to ensure timely clearance of goods, and maintained organized records of all shipping and receiving documents. Prior to this, he worked as a Game Developer at Sea Pony Studios from May 2022 to June 2023. In this role, he collaborated with a team of artists, designers, and developers to create engaging projects, took a leading role in designing core game mechanics, and optimized game performance.
