Sanduni Wasana Herath, born on December 8, 1997, is a dedicated and motivated individual from Kuliyapitiya, Sri Lanka. She has a strong academic background and practical experience in biotechnology and education. Sanduni holds a Diploma in Biotechnology from Nilai University, Malaysia, where she gained comprehensive knowledge in molecular biology, biochemistry, microbiology, and environmental biotechnology. She also completed her advanced level studies in the Bio Science stream and holds diplomas in English and ICT from Wayamba University and Esoft Metro Campus, respectively.
Sanduni's professional experience includes a four-month stint as a teacher at Princess International School in Kuliyapitiya, where she taught science, geography, health, and physical education. She also worked as a trainee intern at Hemas Hospital Thalawathugoda for six months, where she served as a medical laboratory technician, gaining hands-on experience in medical laboratory practices.
In addition to her formal education and work experience, Sanduni has been actively involved in various extracurricular activities. She was a committee member of the school science society and participated in the NatBeHo Environmental Society and Astronomical Society at Horizon Campus. Her artistic talents are evident from her involvement in the Art Alliance of Horizon Campus.
