The primary objective of this unit is to acquaint learners with the extensive array of project management methodologies and their application on a global scale. In an increasingly interconnected world, the demand for adept leaders capable of navigating diverse cultural and ideological differences is ever-growing. This module aims to cultivate learners who can exhibit profound cultural understanding, respect diverse practices from various contexts, and effectively achieve project objectives. By the end of this module, participants will possess the essential skills to excel as project managers in an ever-evolving global landscape.
1. Understand fundamental concepts of project management and project life cycle
2. Define and estimate the resources needed for each project stage using relevant tools
3. Demonstrate the capability to develop a project scope and consider factors, including customer requirements and internal & external goals
4. Understand and apply the traceability matrix and work breakdown structure to develop a practical project management plan

To pass the unit a 40% overall grade must be achieved.
